Good reading

I listened to this audio book on my commute to and from work. It is a love story about an illegal immigrant Jamaican born teen and a Korean American male.

This book gave me a history lesson on South Korea's past and the dangers of a tyrant. The story follows two characters, one trying to save her sister and the other trying to remove his tyrannical brother from the throne. They work together to meet their goals, and in the process they also fall in love. I loved how their love developed despite the treacherous environment led by the king, and how it did not feel rushed.

We are loving this book. We cannot wait to complete it.

I liked it

I like that we got to see most of the family and the secret recipe of the grandma but didn’t like the other family of 13 and when they fought.

I liked reading the book because it has lots of interesting words and it helped me with my pronouncing.

We love this one, too.
